Terms of service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully, in particular section 14 (binding arbitration and class action waiver).
1. Who we are
Wren & Walnut is a brand operated by GOLDENHOUR SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with a share capital of €10,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 913 653 986, with its registered office at 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France (“Wren & Walnut”, “we”, “us”). EU VAT number: FR87913653986.
Email: contact@wrenandwalnut.com · Phone: +1 (808) 515-3458 (Monday to Friday).
Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state of residence, to place an order. We sell to consumers for personal use and do not sell to resellers; we may cancel orders that appear to be placed for resale.
3. Products and descriptions
We try to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. Each product page states the material, dimensions and finish. Wood, leather alternatives and textiles vary naturally from piece to piece, and screen colors vary between devices; such variations are not defects. Dimensions are approximate (± 0.4 in). We do not guarantee that every description, image or other content is free of errors, and we reserve the right to correct them.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where we are required to collect it. Import duties are included (see our Shipping Policy). We may change prices at any time; the price that applies is the one shown at checkout when you place your order. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after confirmation.
Payment is taken when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.
5. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send the shipping confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel any order — for example, for suspected fraud, unavailable stock, a pricing error, or an address we cannot ship to — and will refund any amount charged.
6. Personalization and engraving
You are responsible for the spelling, characters and layout of any personalization you enter. We engrave exactly what you submit and do not correct spelling. Personalization is limited to the characters and length stated on the product page. We may refuse personalization that is offensive, unlawful or infringes someone else’s rights. Personalized items are final sale except as provided in our Refund Policy.
7. Shipping, title and risk of loss
Shipping terms, delivery estimates and our handling of lost, stolen and damaged parcels are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Title to the products passes to you when they are delivered to the carrier. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier confirms delivery to the address you provided, subject to the commitments in our Shipping Policy.
8. Returns and refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Product use and care
Our products are storage boxes and cases. They are not safes and are not designed to protect contents against theft, fire or water. Locks are decorative and provide limited security. Keep small parts, keys and packaging away from children. Follow the care instructions on the product page.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Other than the express commitments in our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy (replacement or refund of items that are damaged, defective or incorrect when reported within the stated time), WE MAKE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR PRODUCTS AND THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, AND WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you; in that case, any implied warranty is limited to 30 days from delivery, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO ITEMS STORED IN OUR PRODUCTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR OUR PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO AN ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT ORDER. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, product photographs, images, logos, the Wren & Walnut name and designs — belongs to GOLDENHOUR SAS or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our prior written permission. Reports of infringement can be sent to contact@wrenandwalnut.com.
13. Use of the site
You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape it, or to submit false information. Reviews and content you submit must be honest, lawful and your own; you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them. We may remove any content at our discretion.
14. Disputes — binding arbitration and class action waiver
Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at contact@wrenandwalnut.com with a description of the issue and try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, any dispute arising from these Terms, the site or your purchase will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration may be conducted by video conference or on written submissions. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court in your county of residence if it qualifies.
Class action waiver. YOU AND WE AGREE THAT CLAIMS MAY ONLY BE BROUGHT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of your first purchase, with your name, address and order number and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and, for all other matters, by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your state of residence require otherwise.
16. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier or customs delays, natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, war, government action or internet outages.
17. Changes and severability
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a new version on this page. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
