Is it solid wood?
Depends on the collection, and we say so on every product page, right under the title. Most Heirloom pieces are solid walnut or solid cherry. Cabinets are walnut veneer over engineered wood — that's how they hold six tiers without weighing forty pounds. Travel cases are vegan leather or velvet, no wood at all.
How long does delivery take?
About 8–14 business days in total: 1–2 days to prepare your order, then 7–12 in transit. Shipping is free and tracked, and U.S. duties are already paid. For Christmas, order by December 1.
Where do you ship from?
We're a small company run from Paris. Orders are prepared and shipped from our partner warehouse overseas, with U.S. import duties paid by us.
Can I have it sent straight to her?
Yes — enter her address as the shipping address at checkout.
Can I engrave it?
Pieces marked Engravable take up to two lines of 20 characters, engraved into the wood, free of charge. Engraved pieces are final sale. How engraving works.
How much does it hold?
Each product page lists the dimensions and shows the inside. If you're unsure, write to us with what you need to fit and we'll tell you honestly.
Does it lock?
Some do — when a box has a lock, it says so on the page. The locks keep a box closed and away from small hands; they are not a safe.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping is at your expense for a change of mind, and on us if it arrived damaged or we got it wrong. Shipping & returns.
How do I look after it?
Dry cloth. Once a year, a drop of furniture oil on a rag, going with the grain. Never polish, never water. Vegan leather wipes clean with a slightly damp cloth.
